What I need to be doing...
Apr. 14th, 2008 10:16 pm*resume. making it... even make sense, for that matter. Then decide what to do with it... The only deadline is how long I'll be able to go to work without dying/killing anyone/wishing to do either of the former. This may or may not be that long.
*finish douglas adams swap (send April 27... yes, that's a sunday) which I foolishly agreed to do twice as much for, or I'd be almost done... :P
*Rincewind is going to someone's wedding in (Portland? I think that was it...). He now has a "cheap import Ankh-Morpork souvenier" for a wedding present (more on that later, yes I will post pics,
leimon_malakoi) but needs something resembling a bio, and wrapping, and to get sent out by friday (I don't get the address until tomorrow, though)
*pack and send fabric for quilt squares to 11 people (it's mostly cut, just needs collating & packing, due may 1), make and send quilt squares as the fabric comes in. (due july 1, no problem)
*finish crafty detective swap (send 5/14, I believe? around then, anyway) which I'm mid-way done with (doing far too much for... that's just me, I think, three items just does not a sufficient package make) and wanting to work on rather than the other stuff that sends out sooner, since I've been contemplating it for longer.
*officially compare calendars with
grauwulf so that we have weekends squared away, at least until we start changing plans (and thus, among other things, work out if I'm actually going to either doll con, and if so, how/with whom I'm getting to NYC the first weekend in June)
---
After all this, I can/should:
*make cool pseudo-victorian things with the wool I got about a month ago. So I can wear them in England when it is September/October and colder than it is here.
*contemplate further the purchase of a (comparatively) cheap resin doll to make into something totally different. Or finish making Lady at home with herself and contemplate one of the two not-cheap resins I sort of want to get. Or decide this is silly, and I have enough dolls already. Or sculpt a harpy of my own. Possibly which of these happens will depend on the employment/leisure situation at the time.
*live happily ever after. Or not. Depending. But so far the former seems to be gaining more points.
And in the mean time, yet again I still need to get up and go back to work tomorrow. But there are likely to remain relatively few people in the lab, which is always a plus. Now I sleep.

Date: 2008-04-15 07:58 pm (UTC)Heck I could even run you up to NYC, and go visit friends while you're doing your doll thing. *shrug* it's a thought. Want to ride up on the bike :P
