Tact and courtesy are what allow us to deal with each other relatively amicably in our day-to-day lives. But when these break down, there is no substitute for honesty. If you tell your friend why you hate what I am doing, I may never know you hate it. I never wish to be told that my behavior has caused a problem, but you are too polite to tell me what I have done, or what that problem is.

More fun with work stuffs eh? part of me wants to go in there and smack some people just on general principle. I fall back on what I said about this before: if you abdicate responsibility for your own feelings and actions (ie don't speak up when something is bothering you) then you also forfeit your right to complain about it. people are dumb.

no, so far as I can tell this particular situation is resolved, although damned if I know how. But the principle still applies. I'm testing out wording before making it a signature file or something.
