It's so fantastic yet so grounded I suppose. And dirty like gritty storybook caked on in all appropriate places dirt. Like Ticktock but with Jareth instead of Princess Langwidere, only the dark version. Dark-ER version.

Except for the joint flaking, and the complete lack of good spray gloss (which I'll try again on when the weather improves for spraying things), I'm pretty happy with him. He's kind of... the dark faerie alchemist's familiar.
Although actually my favorite picture here is the one of Lady, which I only took semi-incidentally since I wanted a couple of that necklace before I sent it through the mail. But it's entirely why I haven't painted her, because sometimes she looks like that.
Maya's still wearing the fantastic kimono so no pictures as yet of the scarab. It looks funny with the kimono. Like I should talk (think Aston with clockwork eye, pseudo-steampunk attire and the horrid goffy spiked choker.) Alyce is wearing it instead right now. Silly girl. 't ain't hers.
