1) In five words, explain what ended your last relationship?
poor planning/debilitating social disfunction
2) How was your prom night?
I deliberately didn't go... and at this remove have no idea what it was I did instead. Possibly stayed home and read a book.
3) Do you have any famous relatives?
Not living-- there's about a 50% chance I was descended from Charlemagne. (There were two people of the same name from the same village at some crucial point, and we don't know which one was my ancestor)
4) Have you taken out loans to pay for college?
Er, no.
5) What did you receive last in the mail?
Interesting? my last two quilt blocks. Entirely? a mutual fund statement. Well, unless something good came today while I wasn't home.
6) What beverages have you drank today?
Water, tea (pickwick chocolate raspberry, since the bagel shop was out of the raspberry rose), gatorade, nasty super-flavored iced tea, more water. (we've been moving...)
7) Do you leave nasty messages on people's answering machines?
That would involve actually calling people, wouldn't it?
8) What's the most painful surgical procedure you've had done?
I guess wisdom teeth. It wasn't particularly bad, though. But that's about it for surgery in general.
9) What is out your back door?
Giant tulip tree, dogwoods, grass-violets-moss-etc, and more trees behind that.
10) Do you usually go out on the weekends?

I'm pretty sure the ocean has never had a chance to do anything to my hair. Maybe when I was quite small, but I'm really not that much for beaches where the sun can get at me.
12) Have you ever visited a planetarium or do you even know what one is?
Er, yes of course.
13) What is your favorite flavor of pudding?
Vanilla/chocolate swirl from standard flavors. Although I'm sure if there were taro flavored pudding, I'd prefer that.
14) Describe your keychains:
Um, I have a split ring with four keys (two houses, car, and lock on the storage unit) and some safety pins. I don't understand why this sort of thing is so difficult for other people.
15) Where do you keep your change?
The change pocket in my wallet. (although there's some overflow in a purple leather pouch picked up at ren faire in high school, and a couple pennies lying around that get used as scale when I photograph little things)
16) When was the last time you got up and spoke in front of a large crowd?
It's got to have been when I was working at faire, I think. So, maybe 2003? I don't usually exist in large crowds.
17) What kind of winter coat do you have?
last winter it was mostly my army surplus thing with the "do not remove this tag" notice printed on the inside. I've got about five or six others.
18) What was the weather like on your graduation day?
College? cold in the morning, and then too warm for all the layers I'd put on under my dress by the time I had to sit in the sun. And damp enough that there was mud to squish between my toes (since I'd taken my shoes off) and get on the hem of my dress. High school? I have no idea; hot-ish and June-ish.
19) Do you sleep with the door to your bedroom open or closed?
Closed, unless the whole house fan is on.
20) Is there anything purple within 20 feet of you?
probably something in one ofgrauwulf's various paintings, which are all inhabiting the wall of the hallway across from the one I'm leaning against.
21) What is the strangest thing you've put in the microwave?
I don't remember microwaving anything except food. Oh, wait-- I did a broomstick skirt once, in an attempt to set a crinkle. It completely didn't work (fell out of the knots I tied after I put it in the dryer and shook the creases out) but shrank too much for me to want to keep. I think I might have given it to Jay...
22) Can you speak any Japanese?
no; I recognize a couple of words of it, but that's about it.
23) Do you look good in the color yellow?
I don't think I look bad in it. But I don't look that bad in most colors. I'm told this is unusual.
24) Do you spit or smoke?
eew, yuck.
25) What is your favorite color(s)?
Green, usually. Brighter earth tones. But I like most colors in the right setting. And deep teal yarns make me go "ooh!"
26) Ever played an instrument?
Violin for 8 years, trebble gamba for a year or two in college, and a smattering of guitar and piano and things. I once took up clarinet for a summer, but then I stared having reed issues and stopped.
27) Do you believe in Bigfoot, or Sasquatch?
I'm rather a skeptic, I'm afraid.
28) Ever been to a palm reader?
not a real one-- various amateur friends have tried to explain the theory of it to me with my hand as an example, though.
29) Did they tell you the truth about your future?

30) What are you thinking about at this very moment?
I really ought to be putting more kitchen stuff in boxes. Kitchen stuff is irritating, though, and doesn't *fit* in boxes very well...

no, my only real bruises are from a) fencing, b) work, or c) the occasional blunder into furniture
32) What is your biggest current disappointment?
Inability to focus/create&follow life goals? I guess. Or maybe the fact that I'm avoiding my nearly-finished novel mainly because it is nearly finished.
33) What are some of your favorite drinks?
Tea (jasmine green, vanilla hazelnut, constant comment), milk, taro bubble tea, cranberry juice
34) Do you have anything that hurts on your body at this time?
back (from moving, I'm sure everything else will be joining it presently), and eyes (from insufficient sleep)
35) Have you ever ridden in a taxi?
A couple times. But I don't know that I've ever ridden in a real standard-sedan-sized painted with the lights on and everything taxi. Just the super-sized & airport shuttle kind.
36) What is the last alcoholic drink you had?
That mini bottle of poma previously pictured with Lady. Also the most I've ever drunk in a sitting (or possibly at all)

Packed kitchen boxes? Spent time withgrauwulf, that counts...

Depends what I'm in the mood for. Possibly pasta & stuff with plain yogurt for sauce.
