Apparently it is necessary for me to install razor wire along the top corners of the roof of my car to prevent things from being put there and forgotten. Although why the hell anyone would think the top of my car was a good place to put anything ever in the first place is beyond me.

Um, yeah. Not a particularly good weekend.

not necessarily razor wire, just a Kevin/Idiot warning that things go _in_ cars, not _on_ them. I hate that I did that, and that it has put such a pall on the whole weekend. After you helped me so much, well this is not the way to repay somebody :/ Nothing to be done about it now, but I'm still going to kick myself about it for some time.

Other than that I thought it was a pretty good weekend though. I really enjoyed the yard selling, and just being able to hang out. Thanks for coming in and rescuing me from another weekend of solitude in the house.

I dragged myself out of a really foul mood on the way up to get you on friday, and the world continued hot and sticky and irritating in little bits; there was a great deal of the weekend that was perfectly good; I just wasn't in a sufficiently good mood to enjoy it properly. Not sure why. Probably just bad chemistry on my part, since I didn't seem to be able to do anything about it. Anyway, the novel was just the last straw, and I shed a few tears and then check out for a while until I didn't feel like breaking anything. I think it just has a tendency to go astray-- at least I don't have to re-write the darn thing again.
