At least we have windows to look out of and appreciate the wonderful weather?
There was an actual bite in the air last night. I can't wait to get some of the other projects off my plate so I can build that fire pit. October evenings by the fire, friends, sour mash, lies and good times.
This is the plan. I would like to have all of the (major) house projects wrapped up before leaving for vacation, which is coming up rather quickly now, have the pit/grill planned out and build it when I get back. That puts it at least in mid October before any major activities get going. I am looking into various mosquito traps/killers to try to put a dent into the local population too. The trouble is finding something that will not run off into the local water table and still be effective :-/
they get me all the time too, it is very sad.
Good luck finding the floor. I was introduced to it once, it seemed like a very nice floor. Give my regards if you do happen to find it.

Can we have some frosts to kill of the mosquitos before sitting out around a fire pit? The ones infesting your house got my wrists in three places. :(
