I have found ducks. In order: the carved one was on my windowsill (I got it at a thrift shop in PA when I was still living there. Willow Grove, I think...) The devil duck was a gift from

Duck #4 is the prize. We went to Stacey's late last night (driving, since otherwise we wouldn't have made it before closing) in search of lemon bars and had to make do with ice cream instead. And it was so late that there wasn't anyone on the couches at the back, so we each sat down on one, and on the floor was a little pink camo-painted duck. Clearly it was meant to be part of my row.

And Lady is punk, from before there was punk, for her dress fitting. She is clearly quite oblivious to how odd she looks.

This is the dress I hate. I realized this after I started making it... it's the dress that turns up in thrift stores in a rack of other things and you pull out the sleeve thinking it might be worth looking at, but it turns out to be made out of some horrible synthetic stuff with an ugly print, cut so you can't wear a bra without it showing, with a narrow a-line skirt that looks like it has an expansive ruffle only it's barely wide enough to walk in and has an even narrower pseudo-slip sewn in. If it's knit, it's usually lined badly enough to show off both your underwear line and your nipples. And this model won't even have a long skirt, which is usually why I end up being disappointed by them, because I usually look for the longest things on the rack.
I guess if you're a doll, most of these considerations don't actually apply.
Also, we finally went to see WALL-E, which I quite enjoyed, despite it making me want to rant about assumed viewer stupidity in pop culture. The best part, though, was definitely the end credits.
...and I have a rain forest in my room.
WRONG!

Silly. Although, now you do have all your ducks in a row. ;-P
WALL-E was a good flick. I quite enjoyed it as well.
More of the work with me.....
