stuff & things
Apr. 6th, 2006 01:21 pmThe lastest word is more field work on probably-Tuesday. We shall see.
I finally joined the rock-climbing trend last night, and was favorably impressed with myself. I'm still rather confused by the way the gym walls are set up, with multiple climbs in the same place, so you're only allowed to use certain holds as you go up, and are supposed to ignore the rest (and once you get past them, you have to remember what's ok to put your feet on, because the markings are generally no longer visible) but other than that I am rather better at the climbing part than I had remembered, and there were people I liked, (some new, some old) and it was good.
So today I am playing with mulit-colored suede scraps to create another piece of proper ragamuffin-esque fencing armor... there may be pictures when I am finished. And I have (finally!) finished, ironed, and packed up the wedding present for my friends who got married last august, and just need to take it to the post office at some point. Perhaps by tomorrow I'll even get to drafting coat patterns... My brain has almost gotten back to a state in which it's productive. We'll have to see how long this lasts.
