What I want to do right now is sit and stare out the window at the rain. This washing rocks thing is such an imposition.

But we may have the third prismatic blade ever found in the state of MD. Not in an intact strat (it might even have been fill brought in from someplace else) but still...

me: No, to me, a long time ago. [after which he went on to say "Sorry, that was a field compliment"]
Steve: It's always interesting to see the people you work with turn into girls.
me: Poof! ... I was a girl before, Steve.
Steve: I tried pulling your hair, and it didn't work.
me: You pull someone's hair and they turn into a girl?
Steve: Yes. Usually an angry woman.
Carey: My brother used to do that with cats when we were little. You know how they put their ears back and lash their tails when they're angry? Well it turns out that if you hold their ears down and move their tails back and forth they get angry.

no pirates in the rain. It is possible that I should be virtuous and go to coronation instead, but I think much travel and athletic activity are probably less of a good idea than rest & things... sad, but I have been feeling too much in sympathy with Nichole, who went home with a high fever yesterday afternoon. (not that I am sick, just far more tired than I ought to be.) Although of course if exciting things start happening here, I'll probably do them anyway, tired or not. 'cause I'm silly like that, I guess.
