Oct. 28th, 2006 02:38 pmAnd a second person I haven't heard from in a while, who I no longer had any way to contact, has just e-mailed me. Am I exuding some sort of "reply to old e-mails!" vibe across the country or something? But I now have Lara (sophomore year roommate) back as well as Bradley. Yay people! Now if I only felt like I had actual news to tell people quite yet...
And I went and voted (since I'm currently scheduled to be in DE on election day) as my mother pointed out that the first proposed state constitution ammendment is very much worth opposing-- Aside from the question of why it's the government's business to decide who gets to marry whom (and that they already have a perfectly functional law against same sex partnerships anyway) they've worded it like the one that's causing trouble in OH now, to invalidate common law hetero marriages as well and apparently give idiots a legal loophole to claim that domestic abuse is ok if you're not legally married. (What the heck is wrong with people anyway?)
And Fergus may not be dying after all. (not that you'd know he was looking like it...) Silly feline now has to be fed three sorts of pills, but they should encourage him to start eating again, so we are relatively optimistic. Funny how one gets horribly annoyed at the cat when he's healthy and being a nuisance, but would miss him anyway...
