(no subject)

It is pretty and sunny out (and I can enjoy it from inside, where it's not so bright) and an hour later than it was this time yesterday. And unlike all you people who went off to hallowe'en parties last night, I got lots of sleep, which hasn't been happening so much recently, and so it also makes me happy.

And I may have come up with a good costume for hallowe'en that goes with the theme at work. We shall see if I can find the necessary props for it...

And now it is time to track down the fishy1 and get my social points for the weekend. Teas and shoppings! Not to mention someone I can babble at! Yay!

So it seems this is why it is good to go to the mall once in a while:

Breyer's Hallowe'en Horses! (mini editions)

(aka the coolest thing ever, or at least my latest plastic toy love... although no, I didn't actually spend $50 on this beauty...) Cryptic... I thought the box I saw in the store was slightly different, so there may be a this year's re-release... except that he's not listed on the actual breyer site. In any case, who could possibly resist a stone horse with a glow-in-the-dark skeleton? I mean, really! (well, ok, everyone else just gave me funny looks, but still...)

His companions are Phantasm who is kind of cute in a shadow/jack-o-lantern sort of way, and Illuminati who glows blue when you press the button on his belly and is downright creepy. Well, his eyes glow red...
