In other news, we have vole links!
Vole clock! an overview of prehistoric dating by analysis of wear patterns on different species of vole teeth. This is way cool. I kind of want to send the guy an e-mail saying that while I am not passionate about voles, I think this is fascinating and could he recommend further amateur reading.
Buy a barn owl pellet and examine your own vole teeth. And the rest of the skeleton...
And on an unrelated note, I've just finished (the beading part of...) my first piece of bead embroidery. It's ultimately, I hope soon, going to become a pin for my cousin. More things may occur at a later time. Beading seems to be one of those things where you say "oh, I've been working on this for an hour or two, and it's starting to look kind of interesting, but my head hurts so I should put it down for a while" and then the next thing you know it's three in the morning and you have a splitting headache and you're so close to finishing it's silly to put it down...

But now, I'd better go see how Jameson's doing in the arena, where I left him last night.
