My computer has been removed from time-out, after too much misbehavior yesterday. I have five printed and bound copies of Novel #2 ready to be edited. (I still have to decide where I want to send the last two, and mention to heuchera that I'm in need of critical editing... um. sigh. I'm not actually handling this transition from "that thing I'm working on" to "I need to do something with this that might one day make it fit for larger audience viewing, and then try to get it there" well at all. I'm ambivalent, crabby, and nervous about the whole thing, although I think it's because this one actually might have the potential to be worth the trouble of making make sense. But I don't have the perspective to say for sure.) I have an impressive yardsale haul from this morning including a doll-scale (real) oil lamp, a small clockwork mechanism without case (25 cents, with two forms of wind-up-tick!) and a real wood bookshelf which currently smells strongly of cigarette smoke, but has a semi-permanent home in the garage for the next couple of months to outgas. I need far more sleep (next on the agenda) and we may be going to Otakon next saturday, on the grounds that while we might not be too enthusiastic about it now, it is just a couple light rail stops away from grauwulf's new house, and any other year, we'll be likely to be at Pennsic instead. Oh, and two thirds of the fabric I own is now in the guest bedroom. When the rest of it gets there, there will be pictures, although the scope of the inventory problem may still be a bit hard to understand in 2-D.

There is also blue fabric and a people-size pattern I want to start with on the floor, but I haven't quite got the brainpower currently to do the necessary conversions to make it appropriately doll-sized.
