Let's see... I have vanquished the computer/photocard incompatability issues by cheating and borrowing newer technology from my father, so now all of the England pictures are safely stuffed onto my remote hard drive. Now I just need to *look* at them, and sort out a few of the 2,408 of them to share. And now I feel justified in using the camera again to take pictures of things I want to put up online.
My father is about to be old, and has been given presents accordingly (I brought him back a copy of the new Pratchett book "Nation" back from England) and we have feasted upon FAR TOO MUCH chocolate mousse. (I had to put the last of mine back in the refrigerator because I couldn't bear the thought of eating it.)
And let me also mention that the world would be a nicer place in general if I had enough desk space to use my sewing machine and my computer both without playing musical chairs. Possibly even computer, sewing machine, *and* serger! All three! And have the computer on a separate desk so it didn't get its little keyboard clogged up with fuzz. That might be asking a bit much, though. And tomorrow it's back towashing bubble-wrapped bricks work and then climbing, so I probably won't be using any of them.
