thanateSomehow the opening schools and Labor Day Weekend and dating the entry log at work with nines instead of eights failed to change over my subconscious expectation that it still be summer, and I find myself feeling almost offended that it is dark out by 8 o'clock these days, and the sun isn't helping me wake up shortly after six.
My mother called me from the Alaska Fur Traders Warehouse to ask what color of deer hides I might want (they have forest green!), and whether I could think of an excuse for my father to get a coyote fur. They've been to the arctic ocean and back, and so far haven't even needed the first spare tire, let alone the extra they brought along. grauwulf who might actually do something about them.
I was intending to do a bit more of the useful this evening, but at least I may now have all the materials I currently need. We shall see. And I got my white spray paint at the hardware store, where it costs half as much as the craft store stuff does, but takes about three times as long to buy, since the credit card reader didn't care for my card, and made me type in five kinds of information twice. Most difficult $3.12 I've ever spent.
