the crow and the crow skull are waiting

(the crow wishes to thank laeticiav for his adoption, as I probably wouldn't have been browsing the hallowe'en display if it hadn't been for my great amusement over the new crop of horrible bales of straw...)

In the last week I have received a new camera and a 4GB card in the mail, and today I got my stockpile of tea. Nearly-instant-gratification doll is on the way, supposed to arrive Wed, unless she hits Merrifield tonight in time to go out to the local PO and be sorted in with tomorrow's mail.

Which is all good, so far as it goes, but what I want to know is, where is my paperclay, which I ordered the day before the camera? I got a "we've got your order" note, but they haven't even told me they shipped yet.

I wasn't actually tempted by the straw, but it amused me a great deal more than it otherwise would have. The ones I saw before were maybe 6" long, so I hadn't quite internalized the scale of the giant attack-straw bale.

I hope the crow skull will work out; I'm a little afraid it will be too small to look right.

Don't be lulled by your amusement - it's evil!!!! It will insinuate itself into your home and take over your floor. Why can't I throw it away? Damn it.
