Wow. Not that I particularly believe in these things, but this is apalling:
And as for my "ill-fated project," I am at a depressing not quite 2.6K and the argument I wanted to have happen is failing to be written. And yet I feel bad glossing over it and going on to having the piglet run away again so that my heroine can chase it and get lost in the Great Woods...
Oh, and I finally tried playing tomb raider (the original game), which I picked up secondhand quite some time ago, and whoever it was who told me that it was an awful game was sadly right. The controls are unnecessarily confusing, and the designers apparently think wolves and bears are the large predators of the Andes. Not, admittedly, that I am any good at playing first person shooter games to begin with, but when it takes me six or seven tries to line up with the save point after I've been playing for half an hour, this seems like a flaw in the game.
