Huh... and now I dream about pseudo-computer-game elizabethan space pirates. With over the top glittery costumes & accessories (but modern tinsel instead of real cloth of gold) and trying to plot how to rescue some satellite colony from evil alien invaders without wiping out the population (not very piratical, really.) And then I dreamed that I woke up and my bed was large and covered in gold brocade blankets and piled with various flashy treasures and I was confused as to why I couldn't actually get up, since I thought I was awake.

Oh, and there was the bit about excavating a long building in a complex associated with canal boats, which was actually the back of a working tea room and museum. And the bit about renting part of a fascinating old house in Oberlin with grauwulf and going to all the restaurants listed in some student guide that required a car to drive to, because I'd heard about them, but never been, because I didn't have a car in college.

All in all, I suppose it isn't particularly surprising that I was wandering around half-asleep most of yesterday, and woke up today with a headache. Phoey.

What exactly does an elizabethan space pirate look like?

Actually, I don't really know. I was in a group of them, but we were mostly looking out of the spaceship, and into the satellite station. So the elizabethan determination is more from the accessories than from costumes. Sad, huh?
