today is a day of little wings

Well, everyone else was doing it... this is the fourth pair (and 5th post) of far-too-small-to-fly wings on a doll from my friends list since this morning. (ok, yesterday morning, now.)



Little scarab-god offers a benediction to the camera. And a heart scarab to keep it from testifying against itself.


And while I didn't have craft foam in blue faience color, I did have this lovely martha stuart butcher's twine that leimon_malakoi didn't want...

So, hypothetically, if I were to write more tonight, would that count towards thursday's totals, or friday's? (am at 19 k now, wanted to make 20 tonight, but then I spent an hour talking to my mother about acorns and places to have weddings...)

Oh awesome scarabosity (that should be a word)! That is so fantastic and original. What a neat idea and they look perfect on this guy, who is so like a little funerary statue. You're right, there are a lot of little wings around and I'm the double offender.

My current theory is that some victorian archaeologist opened up an undisturbed tomb and found him standing there amidst the shabtis and canopic jars.
