And for this five minutes, I am 6 words ahead of saladmonkeylamb. Of course, she's sick, and I'm not going to have time to write for the next couple days, so I'm guessing she'll still finish first. But I can pretend, right?
You know, it's crazy, because I have been behind the high word friends of mine all month, but now I'm kinda in the thick of things.... I'm at 39k! I have wind in my sails and I may be finishing by the end of the weekend. So. Weird.
Stabbing me in the back, huh? Well, I'm back among the living again, so we'll see! (of course, even after a mostly lost week, I still have no idea what my last 10k is going to be about)
More like: "hey, that person I was totally never going to catch up to ever? I'm, like, *right there*!" :)
Like I said, I'm not sure if I'll be writing more today or tomorrow, too, so I think you'll get to reassert your lead. At least if you figure out what you're writing about...
