thanatekilling time before rock climbing (since it's only 10 mins or so from the lab...)
Brian's band (which plays something rock-like... not entirely sure what) has a gig in Georgetown tonight, with a couple other bands of different genres... One of them he started telling us about: "It's not Albatross, not Asbestos-- Alabaster!" Jillian and I laughed at him.
And I'm thinking about chapter seven, and I don't remember quite how I worked it out before. But I have this sudden and horrible desire to model Dionysis after one of my less-favorite coworkers... I don't know if I have sufficient talent for voice to make that apparent to anyone else (which is probably just as well...) but, um, well never mind. It's entirely possible that no one outside my head would know that was insulting, anyway. Meanwhile, I looked up the bit from chapter 8 on my character list, and I'm horribly confused by what order I seem to have put the events in. Not that it matters... I have a relatively good theory on how to make all that work (well, except for the question of why Sinbad takes it into his head to go fishing-- wait, wait! I just remembered; I think Ceridwen suggested it to him! ok, that's all right...) but I have to get there first.
