In my updating of website links, I happened upon the new and improved page of a friend of mine from college, who has gone from selling calligraphy and assorted fibers/chain/etc that her husband and sister produced to keeping a medieval calligraphy and illumination blog at bygone arts and selling through etsy and 1000 markets. I recommend those of you interested in scrolls and calligraphy check it out, as she's just started, and already has some quite impressive links, among other things.

My favorite so far: Misrule, Mockery, and Monstrosity, a graduate dissertation on marginalia, with copious illustrations. Fantastic, in the older sense of the word.

Now I shall go and attempt to nurse my headache without aid of the computer.
