Does anyone else get that thing where you're in a room full of people, many of whom you like, and you get to the point where you can't deal with talking to them because they're all talking to each other and you can't handle more than one or two at a time, or trying to get someone's attention?

and then it spills over into everything else and you do stupid things like go home and mangle your new doll wig (it's mostly fixable...) because you just start chopping it up with scissors without thinking about what you're doing?

I think it should be friday. Or rain. Functionality is a little too much at the moment.

Yes. I get that all the time.
One of the reasons i sometimes drink too much at parties (since i don't have a doll wig to mangle).

I vote for rain: it means i don't have to go water the folks' plants.
If it were Friday i'd have missed tai chi.
On the other had i'd be going to Faire tomorrow.
