You guys are all going to look at me funny, but I just signed on to my bank accounts and transferred money online. And it involved drop-down lists to pick the accounts, typing in the amount, and two mouse clicks, and then it suddenly was so. No going to the bank or mailing checks or anything. Way cool! :)

I just joined the online banking revolution in late March. My reluctance wasn't due to a lack of computer savvy - I'm just very suspecious of ANYTHING until I've had an opportunity to thouroughly research it (online banking, chiropractors, furniture, etc.)

Yeah, actually I haven't done this before because I never actually had a reason to. But it's nice to know it works so well, thus encouraging the initiative to keep more of my money in the high-interest account... I think I'm mainly just still a little giddy about having DSL. I mean, I'm listening to an online radio station, on my very own computer, which I never did before either. :)

Considering I'm still cell phone-less, (maybe in a week), I don't look at people funny for not having/using/trusting every new advance or convenience.
I do wish I could do more bank stuff on line, but the CU doesn't allow some things yet without some face time.

You can always use Yahoo Bill Pay for bills. I started doing that a long time ago. My CU only started having those features recently, but I have stuck with Yahoo because I am too lazy to re-enter the whole enchilada again.

No, they do direct deposit and auto bill pay just fine. It's things like opening a CD/loan or new kind of account that doesn't work on line.
