Pop fashion ate my brain:

Need shoes. Went to mall. Found shoes, liked ones that would not work, did not like ones that would. Left mall. Got lost. Drove around airport. Found West Nursery Road. Followed it home. Apparently where West Nursery Road lives is very wet. Time for lunch, and contemplation of boot ordering, since they don't appear to exist in this area.
Also, I do not feel that trading Tysons Corner for Arundel MIlls is a step up, despite the giant fake-stone facades of Medieval Times and the Muvico Egyptian. Although really, I very much miss the Tysons of 15-20 years ago, which had a whole bunch of independent interesting shops in it. (Are there still malls like that anywhere?)

Date: 2009-04-06 08:33 pm (UTC)Good luck with the shoe search. Shoes are the bain of my existance (although I do have two or three "go to" brands for my very flat and very expensive feet).

Date: 2009-04-07 02:51 pm (UTC)I need to map out what's close to here and sort out what else is within a reasonable drive, and how to get there. I've just been too busy with everything else to get to it yet. (and of course, my shoe problem is that what I want doesn't appear to be stocked east of the Mississippi or at any of the free-shipping mail order places)
