Aug. 31st, 2009 10:17 amIt is fall-cool out today (projected high of 73, with cold breezes and clouds) which is beautiful. I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt and a vest, and enjoying it terribly. It won't last; later this week should be warmer and sunnier, but for the moment, if the yard weren't infested with mosquitos I'd be out enjoying it.
Yesterday was not as exciting as it could have been, although it did involve a lot of sleep, which was nice. Someday I'll actually make it to Tribal Cafe and similarly exciting events, but this month not so much. Saturday was Coronation, where I did have a relatively good time except for having the sun ambush me and scorch my shoulders and wrists while I was waiting in line for lunch, but somehow failed to get a chance to talk to about two thirds of the people I might have liked to socialize with. I did manage to figure out what I'd been doing wrong the last time I tried to play with a lucet, though, so now I have pretty green cord.
Today's weirdness award goes to: the "Angelheim" BJD company who have misappropriated norse nomenclature so that they can bring out as their first doll "Medusa", who is a boy with snakes sticking off the back of his head. Some things, it is probably better not to ask...
