The earth turns onwards...
Sep. 5th, 2009 12:41 pmSo far 5 for 5 days of etsy postings, although I'm still scavenging off of my previous half-finished projects. Must work up some more half-finished things for later use...

Flopsy finally gets to model something, although this is not the head I had in mind to use for modeling. I'm still absurdly fond of her eyes.
584 words from yesterday (which brings me to a grand monthly total of 819/10,000) which hardly count, as I started a new thing, randomly tangential, in which a ten-year-old girl is interrupted in the middle of her math homework by the appearance of the ghost of the biological mother she's never really met. All those questions the hypothetical reader asks (why? where's this going?)... I'm asking them too.
Today and tomorrow are for something resembling productive. Monday we're going to the state fair, buying all day ride wristbands, and possibly going to see farm animals get born.
I'm not making this up:
Birthing Center
Daily from 10 am - 10 pm
Free with paid admission to the Maryland State Fair.
Located in the Cow Palace.
The Birthing Center will provide opportunities for fairgoers to witness the miracle of birth of calves, litters of piglets and hatching chicks. In addition, live video cameras coupled with big screen televisions will be added to ensure that everyone has a good view. University of Maryland agriculture students along with the Maryland State Fair Veterinarian will be with the animals at all times to oversee, assist with the deliveries and narrate the birth events that occur during Fair hours. Video presentations will also be available when live births are not taking place.
