time to break out the fingerless gloves!

Today is cold and damp and lovely and makes me miss England. I'm still behind on my word count (although I plan to go hang out at the library this afternoon) but have been just about keeping up on Etsy postings. If I had any use for today's installment I would be keeping it. Particularly since Amazon seems to have given up sending me lovely brown packing paper wrapped around the books they send me, so the next set of pages I gather up won't have that in the mix. As for tomorrow... I have no idea what I'll be posting.

And in a stunning display of fiscal responsibility (as grauwulf put it) he is considering flying down to New Orleans this weekend to hang out with his best friend. I think the decision is getting made this afternoon sometime; in any case, I've been wondering what I ought to do if he does go, since it would be the perfect opportunity to indulge in some sort of activity that he wouldn't enjoy. Aside from making a dinner with artichokes and lots of olives in it, I can't think of anything that I couldn't do any time he's at work.

Of course, speaking of stunning displays of fiscal responsibility, I'm kind of contemplating buying another doll...

It's cold and damp today? To me, 68 is the perfect temperture for shorts and a sweater . . . . :-)

I don't know what a reliable thermometer would have said about it, but we've had quite chilly winds blowing through here most of the day.
