grauwulf's anime and movies I haven't seen for something to plunk myself down on the couch and knit by than worrying about wordcounts or etsy. This is the kind of attitude that nets me three sales in the past two months, and no novels remotely ready to approach publication with, of course.
At least we have a new microwave. It is not mighty, but it is entirely sufficient.
One day away, I'm still completely undecided, or perhaps that's uninspired, regarding CapClave. Some of their program looks like it might be worthy, but there's also a heavy SF emphasis, and I am probably unreasonably prejudiced against filk. And all those other little reasons (cost, time, other stuff I could-but-probably-wouldn't do instead, the fact thatgrauwulf wants to drive up to NY somewhere to get a motorcycle...) that I could go on about, but that don't any of them matter so much individually. We'll see how motivated I decide to be, I guess. I could bring the knitting and sabotage my note-taking skills.
Also, I have been madly inspired by the doll&owner photo prompt on DOA, but I don't think I can do quite what I want to before Monday, for various rather frivolous reasons. Well, and post rainstorm ambient lighting wouldn't hurt, although I'm fairly sure I'll still need all the lamps I can drag over to make what I'm considering work properly. So perhaps I'll drop back to one of my first two ideas for the thread (which, if I understand correctly, closes on Sunday night) and do the more exciting version a little later.
