I just went out to shovel the first three inches or so of heavy wet snow off the front walk. Ironically, the thermometer says it's still only 33 degrees out there, but by the time that I finished shoveling the front steps, ten feet of pathway, and twenty-some feet of wide sidewalk outside our fence, there was already a solid layer of snow about an eighth of an inch thick where I started. It may be a bit of a long weekend.

Meanwhile, I sort jewelry supplies and things, which is fiddly but entertaining.

We're waaay over that, now. Expect some high-winds and heavier snows headed your way here in a little bit. Shovelling is futile.

Oh, I'm done for the night. I just figured that's three inches I don't have to shovel tomorrow, and maybe a little bit of a guide on where the path actually is, if I'm lucky. We shall see.
