Jun. 28th, 2006 03:36 pmSo, I now have two very sketchy plot outlines. For two totally different stories. (In theory, I could have the as-yet-nameless heroine (with the also nameless child, ex-husband, supernatural-of-undetermined-sort father, and demon lover... something tells me I need to get out the lists of names here or something...) be writing the second story, but I don't think I like her enough to give her credit for the idea I like better...) One is modern-day, totally boring, and pseudo-market-targeted. The other is a kind of expanded version of Tam Lin, which needs a firm setting (I'm thinking regency, somewhere in England, but not sure where yet) and needs a real-world sub-plot to add to the faerie and love story bits to give it balance (and make sure it gets all the way to 50K words.) More interesting to write, but not remotely publication-oriented. Although if I acutally finished something I considered worth sending out to the wolves (er, editors?) in search of publication, maybe that would be worthwhile, too...
I also failed to find small glass beads that looked like eyeballs, which is very sad.
