I know some of you have experience in painting canvas tents-- what (materials/techniques) have you used, and what worked well?

For my stripey tent, I used exterior latex paint thinned with water. I used Terafan Greydragon's (http://www.greydragon.org/library/decoratingpavilions.html) recommended ratio of 1:1. I haven't had any leaks along paint lines.
