thanateWhich is to say, the these are the things that I didn't get to last night because the headache had got its jaws around my temple & the back of my eye socket and was trying to gum them to death. I went to bed around 8:30, did not throw up, and feel much better this morning, at least so far. Word count for yesterday was 87.
However, this is what our near oak and the neighbor's maple tree looked like yesterday afternoon, standing on the back stoop:
Today looks to be just as lovely.
Also, the new Martha Wells book is available for pre-order & she's posted the first chapter as a teaser, Amazon shipped my copies of Cryoburn (I know, I'm behind on that one...) & the new NK Jemison book yesterday, and the next Patricia McKillip is out December 7th, at which point I think I'll also probably get the new Cat Valente book as well (Prester John in trilogy form.) Mmm, books! Now I should go work on mine.
