doll-people question

Anybody recognize this wig? (there's a second picture if you scroll down) Owner says it's green & black, was bought off the marketplace from someone else who didn't know what it was either, and she's not interested in selling it separately from the doll, so that's all I've got. I'm kind of afraid it's going to turn out to be K-star or something completely unobtainable.

Any thoughts appreciated! (and now I shall go back to pretending I do things that are useful...)

Maaaaaaybe...... Cancan J-Series? They were pretty wigs with a tag inside that read, "Josephine" and they made dark green. Sold on eBay and I think a website.

K-Starr, Cancan, and ReleaseRain have all sold forest-green w/black wigs very similar to that one that I can recall off the top of my head. Cancan doesn't have any of that cut right now though (their only black/green is here, (http://www.cancan-jseries.net/product_info.php?products_id=805) but there are some nice dark greens. dude! I had no idea cancan had just moved off e-bay instead of dying. Awesome!

I don't think it is them, though, unless it's been cut-- I've got a couple of their wigs, & they're a) much thicker, and b) the wispy bangs are a lot shorter. Possibly I could get something and hack at it, though.

I don't think it is a cancan, unless it's been seriously re-styled; part of the reason I like this one is that it doesn't have the inch-in-diameter braid thing going on, which all the long cancans I've seen have got.

I honestly think it's a k-starr - there are some of the same mix in the green wigs database thread on DoA.

That seller is crazy not to sell it to you. A green wig is kind of a niche thing and as a buyer, I couldn't care less if a new doll came with the original owner's random stuff, you know?

That was kind of my best guess, too, but I don't pay that much attention to these things. Phoey.

She's just being lazy-- she says she already packed up the doll to ship out once it sells (so, no more potential buyer pics either, I guess) and doesn't want to unpack the box to get the wig out. I said "let me know if you change your mind" and left it at that.

Hmm... maybe Happy Camille? They do custom wigs in a million different colors. I have no what they are like in person but there is a group order for them on the marketplace.

Fascinating... they have something similar, which I'd definitely order, except that they also have a great big hole in their sizing options for someone who wants a size 8 wig. Thanks for the tip, though.

That is sad. (although, I also want a size 8, so that's a bit more complicated, too.)
