This week is going to be rather busy; the days I normally have to "do things" in I'm spending in Ocean City, planting Atlantic White Cedars, and then I have extra evening engagements once I get back. It's all very exciting, but I'd feel more enthusiastic if I hadn't been fighting off a migraine for much of the weekend. So, I should go finish packing, but I leave you with the following:
Norilana Books could use your business; she's brought out a lot of good things in the past few years, from the pair of Jane Austen & monster books that are actually well written and worth reading to being the latest to keep the Sword and Sorceress anthologies up and running. (Also, there's a bunch of stuff that isn't fantasy, if that's not your thing.)
My latest odd obsession: wall hanging fabric planters, with very cool marketing. I... don't quite want to pay for one, and I definitely don't want to drill more holes in the ---ing walls so I can hang any, but I kind of want to have a look at one, to deconstruct for materials and techniques. (I did do some hanging bottles of evil english ivy pulled from the lawn the other day, though, and put them up in the bathroom window.)
...and a doll head in a jar (um, conceptually semi-stolen from
kittymaru, though it also seems like the kind of thing I would have come up with on my own eventually.) Miss Mopsy:

(It is possible that I have a thing about red hair on dolls.)
