What we also find is that fencing has been cancelled for tonight, due to the same icky weather, which is good in that it leaves me time to pack and things (which I didn't feel I could do when I woke up in the middle of the night last night, given that everything I need to get done either involves wandering around the house or using the sewing machine, both of which I felt would unnecessarily wake up my parents) but not so good as there were people I wanted to talk to at said practice, before running off to war.
Meanwhile, I have exciting adventures in using Shary's weird split keyboard, on which my hands want to drift back towards each other and wander off the appropriate keys. The evil fuzzy & flickering monitor doesn't help particularly either. Ok, back to making executive decisions about where sites are on a small map...
