Of saints and souls (and 1.5k)
Nov. 1st, 2010 03:00 pmIn one of those ironic twists of fate, I've been running around all day (um, in an online sense) snapping at people because my username has an e on the end. In fact, it's a long e that comprises a third syllable. In real life, of course, I've spent a great deal more time being irritated by people who want to spell my name with an e on the end.
Tomorrow I shall go vote, mail a package, and disappear into what I suspect shall be non-internet space. I trust it will have electricity, as we're reputed to be cabin-camping on a military base requiring car passes and suchlike, so I suspect running off to the nearest coffee-style shop would be inconvenient. We shall see. At any rate, there will be much planting of marsh grasses on endangered sand dunes, and perhaps the salt air will get rid of the last bit of sniffle from my sinuses.
Oh, and I hosted a write-in this morning, to which someone other than me actually came, and expressed a possible desire to come back next week. Classy!
Experimentally cross-posty from dreamwidth. Comments encouraged in either location.
