*this is why I carry a small folding umbrella with us everywhere; she's not rated for sunblock for almost another month.

Other impractical building materials include pretzel sticks (would get eaten by mice), bubble gum (would stretch and break), old fish bones (would attract all the cats), elmer's glue (would melt in the rain), Lego bricks (would cost too much), and so forth.

Suggestions welcome.

Meanwhile, I shall go back to cursing tweetdeck for completely redoing their design to remove all but one of the features I actually liked, and possibly trying to find out if there's some other twitter app that has still got any of them. Ugh. (This would be more frivolous & less important if twitter had not become my main source of daily conversational interaction with those who live outside of this household.)
