Why is it that I can get home & go to bed at slightly after 1 am, get up around 7:30 or 8 and feel perfectly well rested, but if I go to bed at 10-ish and get up at quarter 'till 6, before the sun is up, my body starts complaining that this is way too much to ask for?
Anyway, went to rock climbing with hoardes of new people, some of whom got on with it better than others, but fun was had by almost all, and I did pretty well for myself, despite being the usual tired. And I fell off the wall a couple times (a thing people occasionally yell at me for not doing, as they claim it means I'm not challenging myself) and my attitude seems to have changed a little bit towards how I'm viewing progress; this may be because I've suddenly determined what my goal is in doing this. [except it's a kind of dumb & petty goal, so I don't think I'm going to tell you what it is]
