thanateSo, not as productive as I could have been, but not too bad... still have to pack. Debating what I want to wear next weekend anyway, and what bag I want to put things in for DE. But I have vacuumed my car and my room, sorted out bedding, done a bunch of puting stuff back on the computer, and dealt with the pokeweed berries. And made motions toward contacting several people I don't really know in hopes of finding fencing practices while I'm not-here. And written some more, if not yet to chapter 7 even... I think I need more description of the king, too. hm...
Oh, and I got a couple books of Baritone (Horn) solos for my father, whose birthday it is today, and then succumbed to temptation and got myself a book of intermediate-to-advanced fiddle tunes [ie challenging but theoretically possible] and a new set of violin strings, which of course I can't make any particular use of if I'm going off to live in a hotel off and on for the better part of the next month. And my bow needs desperately to be re-haired anyway. sigh.
But the thing I'm really wondering is who I want to fight with at War of the Wings. Because my understanding is that the two groups of people I usually align myself with (Ponte Alto and the Dragoons) are going to be on opposite sides... and while geographically I'm a pontoon (well, when I'm home...) there will be a whole lot more of the dragoons there, and in theory it would be nicer to be fencing alongside the greater quantity of people I know, both for the familiarity with them, and for having more interesting and unfamiliar opponents. Or this is my theory, anyway. troyfish telling me what to do when he's on the opposing team... I think it was well-intentioned advice, but I have enough trouble following orders without having to second-guess whether I actually should be or not.
