[ok, I don't quite remember the wording right on that] ...or in this case, more Sisters of Mercy than any sane person should have at one time. (which is saying something about troyfish, from whom I got it all, not to mention, say, skittblink and probably a few others...) I have brought my computer in to the lab, and am starting to make a first run through the 7.7 hours of it all. And I hadn't quite realized how loud it is in here; the poor laptop's speakers are totally not up to competing with the space heater. It's sad.

I have now personally done over 1000 bags, and all of them are in from the field (with Brian and Jillian in tow, so the lab is getting a bit crowded)... With Steve puting things in order before I get to them, I might manage to get through this all by the end of the week. And then get to join the washing & cataloging party going on over on the other side of the room.

classy. yes-- I haven't even looked at the list of everything yet; there's too much of the stuff you already gave me that I haven't even listened to once. Not to mention too much going on elsewise. Really? I am shocked and horrified. Something will have to be done about this (particularly since it was your fault I'd heard of them before...) I'll send you an mp3 CD as soon as you burn me a copy of your movie that actually works. :) (Troy & I tried to watch it, and it started going to static in the middle. Around the bit where they catch the vampire spy, if I recall correctly. We were very sad...)

All I have is Floodland, and a couple of tracks off, I think, Vision Thing. Did I put the 10 minute song of gothic choral joy on a mixtape I made you?! I hope so. Everyone's been having trouble with the DVDs. :( Maybe I'll just send everyone the data file, it plays fine on computers...

Is there someplace you could upload the data file to? Or yeah, just burn it as data, not DVD, perhaps. How very distressing.
