positive reenforcement!
Nov. 3rd, 2006 07:52 pmI am awake. I have eaten things, and stuffed nasty medicines down the throat of the cat. I have vitamin C infused tea, and it is still warm. When I finish chapter seven, I will order myself a new phone. Possibly it will have more consistent good reception.

Date: 2006-11-04 05:41 am (UTC)On an unrelated note, I did sign up for nanonanowhatever.... I signed up late, and so far I have produced a whopping 171 words, but that's more than I did last year. I'm not letting the fact that I have no free time in the forseeable future, including all weekend, get in my way. (Yeah, I'm just not writing anything.)
Cough, hack. Vitamin C infused tea sounds like a great idea.... I think I have to settle for chamomile mint, based on the contents of my pantry.

Date: 2006-11-04 03:33 pm (UTC)time? what would you need that for? :) Um... if it makes you feel any better, I have spent some distressingly large number of hours sitting in front of the computer supposedly writing and still produced under 2.5k so far this month. But it should get better when I finally finish with chapter seven, which is kind of going. (the problem is trying to sort out just how close I want to stick with Aristophanes, when here I am adding my own characters and ultimately going in a completely different direction with it... and then I remember virtually none of my greek syntax, which would be sort of nice here... and darnit, I already *did* this once...) Um yeah-- so what are your 171 words about?
I highly recommend a large cup/small pot of tea with one bag of Bigelow "I love lemon" and one of Cellestial Seasonings... tangerine vitamin C stuff (I forget the name, but it's the one with the picture of the tangerine as a hot air balloon on the box)... almost as good as the Sunburst C stuff that tastes like grapefruit, and both are actually available in standard mid-atlantic grocery stores.
blah, blah, blah, I swear I've written more words in e-mails and lj than on my story in the past three days...
