woods were wet and very muddy and full of melting snow. lots of stps flooded... the worst was the hole that by the time I was done pushing the mud around the screen (since it mostly didn't go through) there was 13 cm depth to standing water. Subsoil started at about 25 cm. Whee-fun. And the screen and tarp got heavier and more awkward to carry the more mud stuck to them. So I am very tired.

I have:
*tea
*a faceted glass punch cup, intact, that I found in the woods today
*lots of hand lotion
*dry toes
*a very large box of assorted comic books, sent me by saladmonkeylamb, which I had forgotten I had asked for
*a fire by which to dry my boots, so they don't get stuck in the dryer and die a horrible death (as Tara's did yesterday)

I think I am only lacking sleep, and Someone to curl up with. Oh well. I can manage one of those at the moment.
