Question of the day: those of you who put down songs at the bottom of your entries-- how do you pick which one to list? I mean, do you really write the entire entry in the space of one song? Is it the one you're listening to when you start, or when you finish?

those of you who are fans of LM Bujold should go here and vote for her books as being good sci-fi. There are only 4 on the list (though you can nominate more if you want) but for some reason Barrayar has the most votes, over Mirror Dance, Memory & A Civil Campaign. what?

capital leters are vastly overrated...

latest field project is over, I'm skipping out on lab work to get things together before leaving, so I don't come back to dirty sheets on the bed and stuff all over my floor. I need to find a place for the stero heuchera returned to me, which hasn't even made it out of the car yet... tonight, fencing, tomorrow night, 300 (ballston commons, I think... you should come!), saturday, Bloodbath, and then sunday I wander off.

I often have music running through my head. Often, either the tune or the lyrics reflect the mood I am in or the theme of the post. Occasionally, it is the song which is playing on my headphones at some point as I am writing. More often than not, I pick a particular piece of music for a reason - to emphsize the theme of the post, to tell the reader EXACTLY what I am thinking, to convey my mood. I see the world in colors and music.

we did ruby falls once, when I was a kid. I don't really remember it; I mainly remember my parents being horribly disappointed by it after all the hype. :)
