Ok, it's official. Sort of.

So I finished chapter 5, and now I need to, um, read the whole thing (possibly printed out, even) and sort out what wrapping up needs to be done in the last chapter. But the story-so-far is backed up.

And then I went and looked at the doll forum, since I hadn't in ages, and registered for that doll con in July. That's the cheap part, not to mention that I'm planning on volunteering and getting at least half the registration fee back. Since it's not like I'll know anybody once I get there... So a hotel room needs to be reserved, and then plane tickets purchased. And I need to decide if I'm renting a car. (I don't even know how much renting cars costs...)

kittymaru-- who do you know who's going? Anyone I ought to meet?

You should meet Lady zagzagael She's doing the photo workshop, and she's absolutely amazing. I'm sure I'll figure out who else will be there.

I think I'll actually be... out of the country at that time, which is why I'm electing to go to CA now with sis.

awesome... I went and looked up all her gallery posts for a little bit on DOA, after seeing some of the stuff she had in the BJD games threads. Her boys are amazing, and I love the wings she's got.

out of the country sounds good. Or at least like a better excuse, anyway.
