What was your quotation about choosing not to be like chimps, again? There's someone I need to share it with.

Or something like that.

For [livejournal.com profile] fishy1, who may be indulging this as I type (I don't think I ever got the actual dates on her vacation): how to do nothing... and when you're done with that, what's your ideal journal size?

for [livejournal.com profile] grauwulf, because I thought you'd be amused: condom roses

and: memory sticks, with actual stick. Pretty.

how to butcher your dollhouse so that the faeries will come and live there. ...er? My dollhouse is a classy (if still unpainted) 5-room victorian gingerbread mansion. If the faeries can't deal with that, they can go live somewhere other than my basement. Yup. But do check out the link at the bottom to the initial author's website.

Ok, back to Dunyazade. Or (if my resolve fails me) Jason. Although I have this deal with myself that if I send my package (tonight or tomorrow!), finish chapter 5, and deal with my resume, I can buy a project resin. Because what Lady doesn't know yet is that she may want souls to steal, but she also needs a fae empire.

So I finished chapter 5, and now I need to, um, read the whole thing (possibly printed out, even) and sort out what wrapping up needs to be done in the last chapter. But the story-so-far is backed up.

And then I went and looked at the doll forum, since I hadn't in ages, and registered for that doll con in July. That's the cheap part, not to mention that I'm planning on volunteering and getting at least half the registration fee back. Since it's not like I'll know anybody once I get there... So a hotel room needs to be reserved, and then plane tickets purchased. And I need to decide if I'm renting a car. (I don't even know how much renting cars costs...)

[livejournal.com profile] kittymaru-- who do you know who's going? Anyone I ought to meet?

sigh.

[livejournal.com profile] astormorray, you are a very bad influence.

I ought to be making quilt blocks, or deciding what to do tomorrow. Or even going to bed! Instead, I am resisting speaking for either of the lovely antique in-need-of some work free pianos on DC craig's list. Although admittedly, I still want the sort of upright piano I can fold up and put in my back pocket, since that's still about all the space I've got. Oh well.

(but... isn't it beautiful?. And this one isn't as pretty, but it's a player!)
