If you were wandering around in an enchanted forest, who, or what, would you expect to see?

I would expect a mysterious old man/woman who would ask me to do favors, which would result in good karma if done and bad karma if not.

I might also expect really awesome trees, possibly some either talking or with dryads.

Definitely talking birds.
